It's no secret that at Sea Tribe we love entertaining! And now that the weather is warming up and we're finally out of lockdown we can't wait to do lots of it this year.
When entertaining, whether it's a small group for dinner or a big BBQ with extended family and friends, we love to create gorgeous tablescapes to set the mood for a beautiful, relaxed event.
Set the scene
Layering your table with stunning placemats and coasters helps set the tone for the rest of your table - if you love boho style you could use something in jute, if your style is more coastal shell placemats will be ideal.
Beautiful blooms
Adding some flowers - fresh or faux - will bring your table to life, and add extra interest to your scene. This isn't the time to go for super-sized bouquets - you want your guests to be able to see each other! Think having stems laid by each place setting, or single blooms placed in narrow vases.
Cosy candles
If your event will run into the evening, a display of candles always creates a cosy and welcoming environment. A collection of tea lights scattered on your dining table, a nearby sideboard or occasional table will create a subtle glow and a sense of intimacy.
With the addition of a few key decor pieces, you can ensure your event is one that will be remembered fondly and enjoyed by all.
